The Useless Decorators Guide...

It would be fair to say there's a fair bit of wallpaper stripping to do here at Diva Digs, sorry Hunningtons. (It doesn't feel right calling it Hunningtons just yet. Somehow the house doesn't feel ready or worthy of the title in its current state. Perhaps one day when the acres of walls are prettily painted and papered, the roof is repaired and the electrics don't come with a serious health risk warning!)

Anyway, back to the wallpaper. So we decided to tackle the living room this weekend. Now when I say 'tackle' that possibly evokes slightly more effort and more positive results than what we actually achieved. But still, we had a laugh. And there's no point in taking on projects of this size if you're not going to have a giggle now and again.

So - we all had a laugh. Tick.

A little wallpaper was strippped. Tick.

Most of an afternoon was wasted achieving very little. Tick.

Mmmmm... we may need to get the decorators in.
